4/10 @ Tualatin High School, 4:15-7:30 (we host this meet and will need some parent volunteers. No experience is necessary and instruction sheets will be provided ahead of time and at the meet. Please sign up to help through the signup genius link found on athletic.net)

5/13 @ Tualatin High School, 3:30 – 9:30 (district meet – you must qualify as one of our top two athletes in your event for your grade level and gender to attend)
5/16 @ Corvallis HS – Meet of Champions, 8:30 (This is the state meet where athletes have to qualify as one of the top competitors in the state in order to attend). For more details, go to:

*We will bus athletes to these meets and parents are encouraged to come and watch. Parents may take their athlete home with them instead of riding the bus at the conclusion of the meet if they sign out with one of the coaches at the meet. If not, athletes will need to be picked up PROMPTLY at HMS when we arrive home.
Practice Schedule:
We will have two optional conditioning practices two weeks before spring break on Tues, 3/11 and Thurs, 3/13. Official practices begin the week before spring break and we will practice four days that week after school (Mon-Thurs, Mar 17-20). Besides these exceptions, we will practice every Tues and Thurs as long as we are not at a meet. Please be at all practices so that you can improve in your events over the season. If you can’t make it to a practice, please let one of the coaches know ahead of time.
Events:
A competitor may enter a maximum of three individual events and a maximum of two relays, but not to exceed a total of four events.
Results will be posted on athletic.net at the conclusion of each meet. The order of the running events are: 100m hurdles, 1500m, 400m relay (4x100), 400m, 100m, 800m, 200m, and the 1600m relay (4x400). The field event options are the long jump, high jump, shot put, discus, and the aero javelin.
Other:
Optional “Hazelbrook Track and Field” shirts ($20) and sweatshirts ($40) will be available to purchase until 3/19. In addition, a singlet/jersey will be given out for the season that is to be returned when we finish. If it is lost, the cost is $25 to replace it.
