Please follow the link below to donate an extra $10 if you sign up for ‘Track and Field.’ You can also donate any other amount to help fund the ‘After School Activity’ program. These donations help fund scholarships, equipment, entry fees, timing fees, league fees, and pay for part of the coach’s time. Any amount is appreciated, and our programs rely on this additional money.

To donate, please follow these steps: go to the TTSD Online Store, choose ‘Hazelbrook MS’ for the school, and then choose ‘ASA Donations’ for the item. This will ensure your donation benefits the ASA program at Hazelbrook.

Thank you.

After-School Activities (ASA)

SPRING 2026 – March 30th – May 14th

Three activity buses will be provided to take students home and teachers will help students get on the correct bus the first week of activities. The buses will leave between 4:20 and 4:25 pm and there will be no supervision available after that time. So, if you are not riding the bus, make sure you have a ride arranged ahead of time to pick you up. Statistics prove that adolescents are more likely to feel connected to their school and perform better academically when participating in extracurricular activities. Encourage your child to get involved!

BEHAVIOR, BUS, and GRADE GUIDELINES

  1. Students are to report to their activity no later than 3:20 pm. Multiple tardies will cause
    suspension from the activity.

  2. Cooperative behavior is extremely important in all activities. Any student who misbehaves will
be given a warning. After the warning, he/she may be suspended from the activity. If a referral
is submitted for unsafe behavior, a student may be removed from the activity immediately.

  3. While riding home on the BUS, each student must agree to behave appropriately. Each student
needs to ride the bus that they are assigned to and adhere to the rules of the bus driver. If an
official complaint is made about a student’s behavior on the bus, they may be suspended from
the activity and/or the bus. If a second complaint is made, the student will no longer be allowed
to ride the activity bus and may be removed from the activity.

  4. Students that fall below a C average in any class may be suspended from that activity until the
grade improves. In addition, students that are displaying poor behavior in class during the
school day, may be suspended from the activity.

  5. Students missing 3 or more practices may not be allowed to participate in competitions with
    other schools.

  6. No refunds will be made if a student is dismissed from an activity due to poor behavior.
